Oliver Cummings Farrington (1864-1933) – amerykański geolog. W 1894 został kustoszem geologii w Muzeum Historii Naturalnej w Chicago (Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago). Odkryty w pallasycie Springwater minerał farringtonite (fosforan magnezu, Mg3(PO4)2) otrzymał nazwę na cześć O.C.Farringtona.
